Job summary

Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery in Riverside, SC is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep our dishes sparkling and our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll follow sanitation guidelines, help with waste, and support both kitchen and cafe teams with a positive, can-do attitude.

We value local food storytelling, teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Weekend and PM availability is required; compensation includes benefits for full-time staff and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for washing cafe and kitchen dishes following sanitation guidelines, keeping the dishwashing and storage areas clean
• Sweeps, takes out trash, compost and recycling throughout the day
• Performs additional cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning, wiping walls and scrubbing dish station
• Assists Kitchen and Cafe in the transportation of dirty dishes to the dish room
• Puts clean dishes back in their designated place in the appropriate department

The Swamp Cafe is a fun and fast-paced environment focused on serving delicious food with fresh seasonal and local ingredients. The Dishwasher is key to maintaining the high level of Swamp Standards. Requirements

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Must be available on the weekends and PM shifts
