Job summary

Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery in Riverside, SC is seeking a Hotseat Sandwich Crafter to help our kitchen and cafe teams deliver high-quality, locally sourced sandwiches quickly.

You'll prepare ingredients, build menu items, and provide great customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment, while paying attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a passion for local food and an interest in telling the story behind it.
• Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately makes sandwiches to order and prepares and produces high-quality food in a consistent and timely manner.
• Models accuracy & urgency in preparing ingredients and building menu items with the goal of consistently serving high quality food in a fast paced environment.
• Ensures the pars/prep lists are being completed such as slicing meat, cheese and vegetables.
• Prepares the workstation for each shift, based on day, weather, season, expected crowds, and for following shift.
• Works safely around hot ovens, heavy equipment, and sharp utensils.

The Kitchen and Cafe Teams work in a fun and fast-paced environment focused on delivering delicious local food with fresh seasonal and local ingredients. One of the key players on our food service team is the “Hotseat” Sandwich Crafter who ensures that orders are made accurately, to high quality standards, and at a quick pace, as well as providing great customer service.

Requirements

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
