Job summary

The Cliffs Hotel & Spa on the Central Coast is seeking a skilled, efficient part-time Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced kitchen. You will help ensure a smooth flow of dishes and support the culinary team while delivering reliable customer service to our guests.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a good attitude, and are able to work 20+ hours weekly, including holidays and weekends. On-site work and a neat uniform are required.

Qualifications

• Good attitude is required.
• Prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dish area, sweep, mop, and perform general cleaning.
• Maintain daily inventory on dishwashing supplies.
• Put away clean dishes and keep the china organized.
• Follow directions of senior kitchen management and chefs.

Position Summary

Dishwashers are responsible for cleanliness and organization of the dish area.

Essential Functions of the job

• Must be available 20+ hours weekly; Must be available to work holidays, weekends, and nights when needed.
• On-site work required
• Have a neat and clean uniform at all times

• Responsible for general cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwasher area, sweep, mop, and general cleaning
• Maintain daily inventory on dishwashing supplies
• Properly put away all clean china, and keep the china organized
• Follow direction of senior kitchen management, sous chef, executive chef, banquet chef

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Good attitude
• Prior experience preferred

Additional Job Duties

• Flexible work schedule
• Able to work weekend and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours).

• Ability to lift small packages (under 40 pounds).
• Ability to work in stressful situations.
