Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Basso. The Dishwasher plays a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas by efficiently washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This position supports the kitchen staff and contributes to a smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station, kitchen, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure all equipment and utensils are clean, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Assist in waste disposal and recycling efforts.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, including floors, counters, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and trash removal.
• Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen supplies when needed.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the kitchen supervisor.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
