Job summary

Thousand Hills Hospitality is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen area and support the dish-room and equipment cleanliness at all times.

Responsibilities include following dishwashing procedures, maintaining workstation hygiene, completing cleaning tasks, and assisting as a busser when not scheduled in the kitchen. Must meet physical requirements and be 18+ with ServSafe or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to take direction and adapt tasks quickly.
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.

• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Organize items as they are cleaned and restock areas.

• Work as a busser when not scheduled in the kitchen.
• Report equipment repairs promptly.
• Follow all health, safety, security guidelines and initiatives.
• Handle all other duties as assigned.

Thousand Hills State Park features Forest Lake, a 573-acre reservoir created by the damming of Big Creek and serves as a fresh water supply to the population of Kirksville, Missouri. Summary

As a Dishwasher you will provide a clean and safe kitchen area, maintaining the dish-room and equipment clean and organized at all times.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the company’s dishwashing procedures to ensure that all expectation regarding the cleaning, sanitizing and storing of dishware and utensils are met
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation, kitchen, and food storage areas at all times
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Organize items as they are cleaned, restock areas where items are stored
• Follow all procedures outlined for health and safety in accordance with company policies and follow proper use and storage of chemicals used to clean kitchen items.
• Work as a busser, assuming all duties of that position, when not otherwise scheduled in the kitchen
• Be alert to kitchen equipment to ensure utilization, proper care, and maintenance is adhered to. Report repairs needed promptly
• Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
• All other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

• Ability to take direction and change tasks quickly and efficiently
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with many personality types.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Majority of shift spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, near other people.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent as required by company policy
• Must be 18 years of age
