Job summary

Roaring River State Park in the southwest Ozark hills of Missouri is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen and keep the dish-room organized throughout shifts. You will support bussing duties when needed and follow health and safety standards and chemical handling procedures.

Qualified applicants will have ServSafe or equivalent, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work varied day/night/weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry 25 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent required by policy.
• Ability to work day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow dishwashing procedures to ensure cleaning, sanitizing and storing of dishware and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation, kitchen and food storage areas at all times.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Organize items as they are cleaned and restock areas.
• Follow health and safety policies and proper use/storage of chemicals.
• Work as a busser when not scheduled in the kitchen.
• Report repairs needed promptly for kitchen equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, security policies and initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.

Summary

As a Dishwasher you will provide a clean and safe kitchen area, maintaining the dish-room and equipment clean and organized at all times.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the company’s dishwashing procedures to ensure that all expectation regarding the cleaning, sanitizing and storing of dishware and utensils are met
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation, kitchen, and food storage areas at all times
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Organize items as they are cleaned, restock areas where items are stored
• Follow all procedures outlined for health and safety in accordance with company policies and follow proper use and storage of chemicals used to clean kitchen items.
• Work as a busser, assuming all duties of that position, when not otherwise scheduled in the kitchen
• Be alert to kitchen equipment to ensure utilization, proper care, and maintenance is adhered to. Report repairs needed promptly
• Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
• All other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

• Ability to take direction and change tasks quickly and efficiently
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with many personality types.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Majority of shift spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, near other people.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent as required by company policy
• Must be 18 years of age
