Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dependable kitchen dishwasher to support daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Responsibilities include loading and operating dishwashing equipment, loading and unloading items, and maintaining sanitary ware and work areas.

You will work alongside BOH and FOH team members to ensure a steady flow of clean items and timely service, while following safety protocols and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willing to follow safety and cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure dish machine operates correctly and chemicals are stocked.
• Scrape, rinse, load, and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Wash, sanitize, and store utensils, glassware, and dishware.
• Clean pots and pans by hand using proper warewashing procedures.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and surrounding spaces.
• Change dish machine chemicals and water; maintain three-compartment sink.
• Support team by keeping a steady flow of clean items for staff.
• Contribute to guest experience by ensuring kitchen cleanliness and timely service.
• Additional duties: mop, wipe down surfaces, and communicate with BOH/FOH.

PurposeTo maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen dish areas, equipment, utensils, and serviceware in order to support efficient operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
