Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a diligent dishwasher to support daily restaurant operations. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dish areas, load and operate dishwashing equipment, and assist with general kitchen duties to ensure timely service.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with BOH and FOH team members. The position emphasizes safety, organization, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that the dish machine is functioning properly and that chemical levels are maintained throughout the shift.
• Scrape and rinse food from dishes, and properly load and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all utensils, glassware, and dishware.
• Clean pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand using proper warewashing procedures.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash and garbage in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and surrounding workspaces.
• Sort, stock, and organize clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and maintain the three-compartment sink as needed.
• Support team efficiency by maintaining a steady flow of clean items for kitchen and service staff.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and supporting timely service.
• Additional DutiesClean, sanitize, and mop various areas of the kitchen and restaurant (e.g., tables, walls, refrigerators, floors)
• Work closely and communicate effectively with BOH and FOH Team Members in a fast-paced environment
• Complete all assigned cleaning tasks and side work as directed by management.
