Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a diligent dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness of dish areas, tools, and serviceware in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will support daily operations by loading and operating dishwashing equipment, washing and sanitizing wares, and keeping the area organized for service. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and attention to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate designated equipment, or as required by state and local regulations.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to stay organized and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify dish machine functions and maintain chemical levels.
• Scrape, rinse, load and operate dishwashing equipment efficiently.
• Wash, sanitize and store utensils, glassware and dishware properly.
• Clean pots, pans and cooking equipment by hand using proper warewashing procedures.
• Sort, remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and surrounding spaces.
• Stock and organize clean glassware, utensils and dishware for service.
• Change dish machine chemicals and water; maintain the three-compartment sink.
• Support team efficiency by keeping a steady flow of clean items.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and timely service.
• Additional duties include cleaning, sanitizing and mopping various kitchen areas and collaborating with BOH and FOH teams.

PurposeTo maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen dish areas, equipment, utensils, and serviceware in order to support efficient operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
