Job summary

Atrium Embassy Suites Charleston in Charleston, WV is seeking a part-time kitchen/housekeeping helper. You will clean and sanitize kitchen spaces, wash dishes, manage waste, and support setup and breakdown for events. Training is provided for all new hires.

No previous experience is required; a Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
• Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
• Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
