Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is hiring at Norfolk Sheraton to support the kitchen and guest services team. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen areas, washing dishes, and managing waste while assisting with event setup and breakdown.

This on-site position offers training if needed and requires physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long shifts. No prior experience is required; candidates will be trained.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk‑ins, and storage spaces.
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas.
• Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area.
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish‑up assistance.
• Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces.
