Job summary

High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill in Chandler, AZ is seeking a dependable dishwasher to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. You will keep the dish room organized and report issues to the Chef.

You’ll mop floors, manage the dish machine, monitor water temperature and chemicals, and ensure a steady supply of clean dishes for the dining room and kitchen. Be ready to step in as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds multiple times per shift.
• Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.

• Mop bar, restrooms and dining room floors daily before restaurant opens.
• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemicals to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dish room clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop. Able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds multiple times per shift.
