Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Bethesda, MD is hiring a dishwasher to keep the kitchen spotless and ensure service runs smoothly. You’ll operate the dish machine, wash and rotate wares, and support the team during busy shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements stated; prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to support team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine, ensure proper sanitation levels and report issues.
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils.
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas.
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
