Job summary

Walters Hospitality in Aubrey, TX is seeking a hardworking dishwasher to support events and contribute to memorable celebrations. You will manage the dishwashing station, handle washing, loading, unloading, and sanitation while maintaining a fast-paced kitchen during events.

The role is part-time with weekends and evenings required; a Food Handlers license is required in Texas and you must be 18+ with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Texas Food Handlers license required.
• Physical: able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand 8–12 hours.
• Background check required; must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Dishwasher during events.
• Collect used kitchenware, load/unload dishwasher; hand wash as needed.
• Store cleaned kitchenware appropriately.
• Ensure there are enough cleaned dishes during peak service.
• Remove garbage regularly and sanitize kitchen area including floors.
• Ensure HACCP compliance in kitchen areas.
• Exhibit a teamwork atmosphere.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including nights/weekends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

What You’ll Do

• Working as a Dishwasher during events.
• Collect used kitchenware, china, and glassware and load and unload the dishwasher. Hand wash items as necessary.
• Store cleaned kitchenware, china, and glassware appropriately.
• Ensure there are enough cleaned dishes at all times especially during peak service time.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area including the floors.
• Ensure compliance HACCP within the kitchen areas.
• Exhibiting a teamwork atmosphere.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of nights/weekends.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred
• Education: Applicable Work History and Food Handlers license required in Texas
• Physical: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours
• Other: Submit to a background check, must be 18 years old, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Schedule

• Part-Time: Weekends and Evenings when events take place
  • Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, late nights
• Hourly: $15 per hour
• 401k with 4% Match
