Job Summary
City Cellars HTX is looking for dependable, efficient Dishwashers to help uphold our high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Dishwashers are essential to maintaining smooth operations and a safe, sanitary environment for both guests and the team. This is a high-volume role that requires urgency, consistency, and a strong team mentality. We’re seeking individuals who take pride in cleanliness and are ready to jump in and contribute during our busiest shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, floors, sinks, and workspaces throughout the shift.
- Support overall kitchen cleanliness by helping clean equipment, surfaces, prep areas, and storage spaces.
- Ensure restrooms remain clean, stocked, and sanitary during service hours.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and restocking supplies as directed.
- Alert the kitchen team to any issues with dish supply shortages or malfunctioning equipment.
- Execute end-of-shift deep cleaning and reset tasks, ensuring the dish area is ready for the next service.
- Assist with basic prep tasks or other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
- Handle waste and recycling procedures in line with local safety and sustainability regulations.
- Maintain professionalism and a team-focused mindset during high-volume service windows.
Qualifications
- Prior dishwasher experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, while maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to be part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for long periods.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.

- Hourly wage based on experience and performance.
