Job summary

Ladybird in Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our back of house team. You will clean and sanitize all meal preparation areas, wash dishes, and assist Chefs with basic food preparation in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all meal preparation areas as well as kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, and grills.
• Sweep and mop all kitchen areas during shifts and at the end of shifts.
• Wash dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure that food mixers, cookers, and other cooking equipment are in good working order.
• Receive and unpack all deliveries.
• Empty, re-lining, and washing garbage cans as required.
• Assist the Chef with basic food preparation, washing, peeling, and cutting meal ingredients as per the Chef's instructions.

Kitchen Porters wash dirty dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment, assist Chefs or Cooks with basic food preparation and ensure that kitchens are clean and orderly.

Job Duties
