Job summary

Electric Hospitality is seeking a Bar Back to support the Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall team in Atlanta. You will restock supplies, assist bartenders, prep garnishes, and help close out shifts while maintaining bar hygiene and efficiency.

Great for individuals with prior bar or customer service experience who can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positions require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with competitive pay and employee perks.

Responsibilities

• Restock bar supplies including glassware, alcohol, mixers, and garnishes during service.
• Change kegs behind the bar as needed.
• Clean and sanitize bar areas, equipment, and glassware to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist bartenders by preparing ingredients, cutting garnishes, and refilling ice.
• Handle trash removal and dumping, recycling, and maintain cleanliness in the back bar area.
• Provide basic customer service by serving water and supporting bartenders during peak times.
• Assist with closing duties including restocking, cleaning, and preparing for the next shift.

Position Summary:

The barback assists with cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the bartender and keep the bar running smoothly.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Will frequently stand, walk, reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy.
