Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is hiring a Dishroom Attendant to load and empty the dish machine, wash pots, pans, cooking utensils and equipment by hand, and assist kitchen staff as needed.

You will keep the dishroom clean, stock dishware, follow MSDS, safety, sanitation and HACCP guidelines, communicate with management and peers, and be flexible with shifts, including cross-training in varied positions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

Responsibilities

• Load and empty the dish machine; wash pots, pans, and utensils by hand.
• Clean the dishroom, carts, floors, walls and mats; restock dishware as cleaned.
• Perform closing duties per standards; follow safety, sanitation, infection control and HACCP guidelines.
• Communicate needs to management and peers; provide courteous service to patients and staff.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Orlando Health policies; participate in meetings.
