Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Kitchen Worker to clean plateware, glassware, equipment, and utensils while upholding sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.

The role supports food production operations and requires adherence to safety policies, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Evening and weekend shifts may be required in a casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willing to work odd and irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have strong communication and reliability for a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict hygiene standards at all times.
• Clean and maintain the dish room and kitchen areas.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Dispose of kitchen waste per casino policies.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
• Assist with inventory needs and report supply requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen/dining area and follow all policies.
