Ideal candidates have basic math, can follow instructions, work well in a team, and stay active on shift. No education is required; six months or less related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly.
• Handle food safely and keep the work area clean.
• Remove trash and manage department garbage promptly.
• Answer the phone and assist customers with a friendly, helpful approach.
• Work with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as assigned.
• Maintain personal hygiene and Hy-Vee policies and guidelines.
• Report to work on time.
