Hy-Vee is seeking a Dishroom Clerk for our Market Grille department in the United States. You’ll keep dishware and utensils clean, maintain a safe kitchen, and support the team to deliver quality meals with a friendly customer experience.

This role requires physical activity, standing/walking, and following food-safety practices. Six months or less of related work is preferred, with no formal education required. Employment is in-store and team-focused.

Qualifications

• No education requirement; six months or less of related work preferred.
• Frequent standing and walking during a shift in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to safely operate in a kitchen and follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and positive interaction.
• Wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly and consistently.
• Handle food safely and ensure the work area is clean and neat.
• Remove trash and manage department waste to designated areas.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned.
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and Hy-Vee policies.
