Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Metairie, LA is seeking a dedicated team member to maintain a clean, efficient dining area. You will clear, sanitize, and reset tables between courses to ensure a welcoming guest experience during breakfast and lunch hours.

Responsibilities include removing used tableware, assisting with dishroom tasks, cleaning tabletops and seating areas between seatings, and checking restrooms every 30 minutes.

• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
• Clear tables after guests leave the table
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, glassware in the designated areas
• Between seatings, clean tabletops, chairs, and booths and reset for next party
• Serve guests refills as needed and remove used tableware between courses
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
• Clear tables after guests leave the table
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area
• Between seating(s) promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths – check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop for next party
• Serve Guests refills as needed – remove used tableware between courses
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed
