Trattoria Villagio in Clifton, VA is seeking a Dish Machine Operator (Porter) for a part-time role in a fast-paced kitchen. You will help keep the dish area clean and ensure a steady supply of clean wares.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, organizing deliveries, light prep, and assisting with event setup. Flexible schedule with nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; restaurant coursework preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cutlery, and utensils to ensure a constant kitchen supply.
• Clean work surfaces, equipment, and the kitchen area to maintain hygiene standards.
• Regularly empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal.
• Unload and organize deliveries, storing ingredients and supplies in appropriate areas.
• Assist in keeping storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers organized and clean.
• Some light prep may be required.
• Help set up and break down event areas.
• Transport and organize supplies for off-site catering events (if necessary).
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance during service periods.
• Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
