Notre Dame Hospitality in Notre Dame, IN is seeking entry-level Dish Crew Stewards for temporary/on-call shifts at LaFortune Student Center. You will learn kitchen sanitation, organization, and dish workflow while supporting event operations and guest service.

Ideal candidates are reliable, team-oriented, with strong attention to cleanliness and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Shifts listed: Sun/Mon 1:30PM-10PM and Fri/Sat 9AM-5PM.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwasher, ensuring proper washing, rinsing, and sanitizing procedures.
• Keep the dish area clean and organized throughout your shift, adhering strictly to all cleaning and sanitation guidelines for food safety and health code compliance.
• Pot & Pan Sink: Manually scrub and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Dirty Table & Loader: Scrape, sort, and efficiently load dirty dishes into the machine.
• Clean Catch Side: Unload, inspect, and organize clean dishes for proper storage.
• Clean Dish Restocking: Transport and restock clean dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated areas.
• Utility Support (5th Man): Assist as needed, including emptying trash, cleaning tilts and kettles, spot sweeping/mopping, and restocking/sorting silverware.
