Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a Litigation Paralegal with 2–5 years of law firm experience defending skilled nursing facilities and residential care facilities for the elderly in elder abuse and professional negligence litigation.

This is a specialized role focusing on discovery and case management. You will support the PLGL Legal team by working with Litigation Managers on discovery requests, document collection, and coordination with outside defense counsel.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in litigation defense with focus on elder abuse and professional negligence.
• Medical malpractice defense experience is a plus.
• Experience in discovery-heavy litigation essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to discovery requests with facility staff and external counsel.
• Identify and produce facility records related to elder abuse and professional negligence claims.
• Generate client status reports and assist in drafting discovery responses.
• Oversee discovery activity including scheduling and document organization.
• Attend meetings with external counsel and facility staff as needed.
• Handle additional paralegal and administrative projects as assigned.
