HCA Healthcare is seeking a Discharge Transport EMT to coordinate patient discharge transport across markets served. The role involves working with hospitals and transport providers to ensure timely, patient-centered arrangements.

Ideal candidates have EMT licensure, hospital experience, and strong communication skills. This position supports PLC coordination and requires staying within 60 miles of an PLC facility in specified markets.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of clinical or hospital experience.
• EMT licensure required (Basic/Advanced/Paramedic).
• Call Center/Transfer Center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ambulance transport regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate discharge transport arrangements using facility data and transport providers.
• Coordinate transport with hospitals and providers.
• Maintain awareness of hospitals and transport services in markets served.
• Exhibit professional customer service in calls with hospitals, dispatchers, PLC coordinators.
• Maintain data accuracy in patient records and workflow systems.
• Navigate technology platforms and call systems.
• Manage multiple calls and prioritize ETAs.
• Communicate ETA updates to facilities.
