SERVPRO of Augusta in Florence, SC is seeking a Mitigation Technician to restore homes and businesses after disasters. You will perform water extraction, mold remediation, and fire damage restoration as part of a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected; opportunities for training and advancement are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in restoration or related field.
• Knowledge of water and fire damage restoration techniques.
• Must lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Own personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, mold remediation, and fire damage restoration services.
• Assess damage and develop effective mitigation plans for clients.
• Utilize specialized equipment for drying, dehumidifying, and sanitizing affected areas.
• Document the restoration process and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the restoration process.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all operations.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements.
• Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance as needed.
