Job summary

SERVPRO Team Toft is seeking a Mitigation Technician to respond to water, fire, mold, and storm emergencies and perform restoration work. You will extract water, demolish, remove debris, and set up drying equipment to prevent further damage.

You will document progress with our software, maintain equipment, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates while following safety protocols. A hands-on, fast-paced role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work rotating on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Construction, restoration, demolition, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• IICRC certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage emergencies.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, cleaning, and restoration services.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain drying and restoration equipment.
• Document job progress using company software and mobile technology.
• Load, maintain, and organize company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Follow all SERVPRO procedures and safety standards.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules for emergency response.
