Job summary

SERVPRO of Richland County is seeking a Mitigation Technician to support fire, water, mold, and biohazard cleanup. You will help secure properties, demolish or dry and clean spaces, and assist in containment setup and contents salvage, contributing to full restoration services.

Ideal candidates bring demolition/restoration experience, a strong work ethic, and ability to work nights/weekends on a bonus-driven on-call schedule, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in demolition, construction, or restoration is preferred.
• Infection control cleaning experience is helpful.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions.
• Willlingness to work nights and weekends on on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform mitigation services for fire, water, mold, or biohazards.
• Communicate clearly with Crew Chief and Production Manager.
• Identify safety hazards and apply control measures.
• Set up staging areas and equipment; keep site clean and organized.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness.
• End-of-day and end-of-job breakdown and cleanup.
• Protect and properly use equipment and materials.
