Job summary

ServiceMaster is seeking a Restoration Technician for the Large Loss Division to perform hands-on fire, water, mold restoration, operate equipment, and document field progress safely and efficiently. As part of a field team, you will travel nationwide, set up containment and drying systems, follow procedures, and communicate hazards or concerns to supervision while upholding safety and quality standards.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, temporary labor, clients, and management.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a project team.
• Meet applicable medical, safety, and training requirements including respirator evaluation and fit testing when required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at assigned project locations on time, in required Company uniform and with all required PPE.
• Attend daily project meetings, line-ups, safety meetings, and JHA or other required safety reviews.
• Perform restoration work in accordance with Company procedures, client requirements, and safety practices.
• Set up and maintain assigned work areas and ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are available and organized.
• Inspect work areas for hazards and communicate concerns to supervision per procedures.
• Complete field paperwork, daily reporting, and moisture documentation accurately and timely.
• Photograph and document project progress and upload documentation using required systems.
• Perform moisture mapping and monitoring in commercial and large-loss structures.
