Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration of Wilmington is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as restoration technicians. The role involves assessing properties, cleaning damaged areas, and replacing damaged materials, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The environment is indoor/outdoor across residential and commercial sites, with a typical 8-hour day, five days a week and some weekend/on-call work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved.
• Cleaning and storing damaged contents until they can be returned to the home.
• Removing and replacing damaged materials, such as wallboards, lumber, and carpets.
• Handling issues caused by fire or water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.
• Sanitizing structural features that can be saved.
• Communicating in-person with homeowners, explaining job specifications, and performing other customer service duties.
• Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear.
