Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration of Wilmington is seeking compassionate, detail-oriented restoration technicians to assess damaged properties, clean and replace materials, and sanitize completed homes. The role includes working indoors and outdoors on both residential and commercial sites, requiring physical effort and strict safety adherence.

You will communicate effectively with homeowners, explain job specifications, and perform customer service duties while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved.
• Cleaning and storing damaged contents until they can be returned to the home.
• Removing and replacing damaged materials, such as wallboards, lumber, and carpets.
• Handling issues caused by fire or water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.
• Sanitizing structural features that can be saved.
• Communicating in-person with homeowners, explaining job specifications, and performing other customer service duties.
• Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
