Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Program Manager for the North American Disaster Relief team in Coppell, TX. You will oversee deployment operations, coordinate with churches and agencies, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure safety and training throughout responses.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years of related experience, possess a Class A license (or ability to obtain one), and demonstrate strong communication and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years' related experience or equivalent
• Ability to obtain Class A license and a valid DOT medical card
• Working knowledge of general construction and chainsaw use
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; ability to learn in-house apps
• Strong written and public speaking communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with limited resources and adapt to changing conditions
• Proven ability to guide volunteers and manage deployments
• Ability to provide data and statistics to determine volunteer needs and deployment timelines
• 12 college-level Biblical Studies credits (required) or plan to complete after hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness
• Lead and oversee deployment; set up programs; collaborate with partners; supervise staff and volunteers; train volunteers; ensure safety and training procedures
• Serve as Incident Commander; fill key roles based on response needs
• Maintain inventory; oversee financial transactions; submit daily/monthly activity reports; attend weekly staff meetings
• Establish communication with churches, government agencies, and other relief organizations
• Other duties as assigned
