Job summary

Tetra Tech is expanding its Disaster Recovery team, seeking Site Inspectors to support recovery efforts across the United States. This on-call role involves field, remote, or hybrid work depending on client needs and project requirements.

As a Site Inspector, you will document damages to public infrastructure, assist in funding determinations, and help develop recovery projects. Travel and field deployments may be required on short notice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in building inspection, assessment, or related field.
• Experience collecting, organizing, and documenting field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile data collection apps, cloud-based info systems, and smartphone/tablet tech.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site observations for recovery funding.
• Create and review site inspection reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and communicate scheduling needs.
• Support FEMA PA and other disaster programs through inspections and docs.
