Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support our Disaster Recovery team across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role may involve field, remote, or hybrid assignments based on client needs and project requirements.

As a Site Inspector, you will document disaster-related damages to public infrastructure, work with engineers and recovery specialists, and help support funding determinations and recovery planning efforts. Travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspection, damage assessments, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Proficiency with MS Office and mobile data collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities and infrastructure.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other assets.
• Capture photos, measurements, and observations to support recovery funding.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain records per requirements.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and communicate scheduling needs.
• Support FEMA PA and other recovery programs through inspection data.
