Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery operations across the United States. This on-call role may involve field, remote, or hybrid assignments depending on client needs.

You will document damages to public infrastructure, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, and contribute to funding determinations and recovery planning. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspection, construction, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel on short notice.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections of disasters and document damages to facilities.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions for recovery funding programs.
• Develop clear site inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and explain inspection requirements.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.
• Work safely in varied environments and adhere to standards.
