Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call role involves documenting damages to public infrastructure and coordinating with engineers, government staff, and applicants.

You may work in the field, remotely, or via hybrid arrangements depending on project needs. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in building inspection or related fields, strong data collection skills, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in building inspection, construction, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of facilities and infrastructure impacted by disasters.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, parks, etc.
• Capture photos, measurements, observations, and site conditions for recovery funding.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive site inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate site visits with facility representatives and government staff.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.
