Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery across the United States.

This on-call role covers field, remote, or hybrid assignments; you will document damages, support funding determinations, and work with engineers, project managers, and recovery specialists. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in inspection or related fields, strong data collection skills, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of building inspection or related field experience.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile data collection tools.
• Ability to travel on short notice and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities and infrastructure.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and more.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions for recovery funding programs.
• Develop clear site inspection reports and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and communicate requirements.
• Support FEMA PA and other disaster recovery programs through inspection work.
