Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery efforts across the United States, including field and remote assignments. This on-call role documents damages to public infrastructure and supports funding determinations and recovery planning.

Responsibilities include data collection, reporting, and coordination with engineers, grant managers, and government staff. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in building or infrastructure inspection, strong communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspection, construction, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile data collection apps, cloud systems, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities and infrastructure.
• Develop site inspection reports and verify data accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate inspections with applicants, government staff, and stakeholders.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other recovery programs through documentation.
• Operate safely in varied environments and comply with standards.
