Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery efforts across the United States. This on-call role involves field, remote, or hybrid work depending on client needs and project requirements.

As a Site Inspector, you will document disaster-related damages, coordinate with applicants and engineers, and help support recovery funding and project formulation. Travel may be required on short notice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in building inspection, construction, facility assessment, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities and infrastructure.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, utilities, and related sites.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site data for funding and recovery programs.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and explain inspection requirements.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other recovery programs.
