Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call role involves documenting damages to public infrastructure and supporting funding determinations and recovery planning.

Assignments may occur in the field, remotely, or through a hybrid arrangement depending on client and project requirements. You will conduct inspections, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, and produce clear site inspection reports while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building inspection, construction, facility assessment, infrastructure assessment, or related fields.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mobile data collection applications, cloud-based information systems, and smartphone/tablet technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop-based inspections of facilities and infrastructure impacted by disasters.
• Evaluate and document disaster-related damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, parks, and drainage systems.
• Capture photographs, measurements, observations, and site conditions for recovery funding programs.
• Develop clear and comprehensive site inspection reports and ensure data accuracy in records.
