Job summary

5 Star Restoration of Atlanta LLC in Georgia seeks a motivated Mitigation Technician to join our 24/7 disaster response team. You will set up and monitor equipment, document progress, take moisture readings, and help prepare trucks for emergencies.

Work will involve field operations, safety training, and collaboration with a fast-paced crew to restore homes and businesses after water or fire damage. Candidates should be reliable and ready to work in challenging environments.

Qualifications

Experience in restoration or construction is a plus.
Ability to work in confined spaces and outdoors.
Comfort with field-based, physical work.

Responsibilities

Set up and monitor equipment, take pictures and document progress of loss.
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, take moisture readings, logs, and maintain records.
Oversee equipment maintenance.
Perform demolition of loss as needed.
Work in confined spaces when required.
Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information.
Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Prepare trucks and equipment for emergencies.
Ensure all assigned personnel are trained in duties and safety precautions.
Be on the move and adapt to changing daily tasks.
Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance.
