Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Mitigation Specialist to support our field operations in the Atlanta area. You will respond to property damage events, perform on-site mitigation, document progress, and ensure work meets safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in water mitigation or restoration, and IICRC WRT is preferred or willing to obtain. This role requires strong communication and comfort with mobile documentation and coordination with project teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in water mitigation or restoration.
• IICRC WRT preferred or willing to obtain.
• ASD/FSRT/AMRT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification setup, and moisture mapping.
• Assist with fire and smoke cleanup, odor removal, and content handling.
• Support mold remediation activities including containment setup, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial application.
• Conduct controlled demolition (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.) when required.
• Capture accurate job notes, photos, moisture logs, and time entries using mobile software.
