The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (DACF) seeks a Contract/Grant Manager to administer NRDRAP and related grant programs from Augusta. Remote work is allowed with management approval. This limited-period role covers grant lifecycle activities, coordination with partners, and compliance across state and federal funds.

The position emphasizes monitoring, reporting, and technical assistance to applicants and awardees, with collaboration across agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grant and contract administration, including monitoring, reporting, and compliance.
• Familiarity with state and/or federal funding processes and program requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to provide technical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Administer state and federal grant agreements and monitor expenditures, deliverables, and program requirements.
• Coordinate with federal and state agencies, contractors, reviewers, and partners involved in program implementation.
• Review applications, reimbursement requests, reports, and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Conduct monitoring and due diligence activities, including site visits as needed.
