Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery across the United States. This on-call role documents damages to public infrastructure, supports funding decisions, and assists in recovery planning.

You may work in the field, remotely, or in a hybrid setup depending on client needs and project requirements. As a Site Inspector, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, and recovery specialists to capture accurate data, generate thorough reports, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in building inspection, damage assessments, or related fields.
• Ability to collect, document, and organize field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile data apps and cloud systems.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
• Willingness to travel on short notice and pass MVR checks.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, utilities, and sites.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site data for recovery funding.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate site visits with officials and stakeholders.
• Support FEMA PA and other disaster recovery programs with data.
• Assist project teams with interpretation of facility conditions.
