Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role may involve field, remote, or hybrid assignments to document damages to public infrastructure after disasters.

You will work with engineers, project managers, and recovery specialists to collect data, prepare site inspection reports, and support recovery planning and funding determinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mobile data collection apps, cloud-based information systems.
• Ability to travel on short notice as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of facilities and infrastructure impacted by disasters.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other facilities.
• Capture photographs, measurements, observations, and site conditions for recovery funding programs.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive site inspection reports and maintain project records.
• Coordinate site visits with facility representatives, government staff, and other stakeholders.
