Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery efforts across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role may involve field, remote, or hybrid assignments depending on client needs and project requirements.

As a Site Inspector, you will document damages to public infrastructure, gather data, and support recovery planning with engineers, architects, and project managers. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building inspection, construction, facility assessment, infrastructure assessment, or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mobile data collection apps, cloud-based information systems, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of facilities and infrastructure.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other facilities.
• Capture photographs, measurements, and site conditions.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and communicate inspection requirements.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.
