Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs nationwide. This on-call, as-needed role involves documenting damages to public infrastructure and facilities.

Assignments may be in the field, remotely, or in a hybrid arrangement depending on client and project requirements. You will collect data, develop site inspection reports, and coordinate with engineers, architects, and recovery specialists to support funding determinations, project formulation,

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile data collection tools.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, utilities, and other infrastructure.
• Capture photos, measurements, observations, and site conditions for funding programs.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and ensure data quality.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and schedule management.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.
• Maintain safety and professional standards on all projects.
