Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role involves field, remote, or hybrid assignments to document damages and support funding determinations.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and recovery specialists to capture site data and contribute to recovery planning. The position emphasizes flexibility, strong data collection, and professional conduct in varied environments, with

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspection or related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mobile data collection applications, cloud-based information systems, and smartphone/tablet technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop-based inspections of facilities and infrastructure impacted by disasters.
• Evaluate and document disaster-related damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, parks, drainage systems, and other facilities.
• Capture photographs, measurements, observations, and site conditions necessary to support recovery funding programs.
• Develop clear and comprehensive site inspection reports.
• Review inspection reports for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Maintain project documentation in accordance with client, program, and quality control requirements.
