Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role may involve field visits, remote work, or hybrid arrangements depending on client needs and project requirements.

As a Site Inspector, you will document damages to public infrastructure and facilities to support funding, project formulation, and recovery planning. You will work with engineers, project managers, and recovery specialists to ensure accurate data

Qualifications

• 2+ years in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile data collection tools.
• Ability to travel on short notice and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions for recovery funding.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders and communicate scheduling needs.
• Support FEMA and other disaster recovery programs through inspection data.
